SCOLARO, Sam P, 89, died peacefully at home in Brandon, Florida on October 29, 2012. He was born March 14, 1923 in Ybor City, and lived his entire life in this area. He was a veteran of WWII and worked at his own business at the the Tampa Wholesale Produce Market. Sam was preceeded in death by his wife of 68 years, Antoinette; his parents, Domenico and Angelina Scolaro; his in-laws Stefano and Angelina Antinori; and his sister-in-law and brother-in law, Sandy and Jimmy Chillura. He is survived by his sons, Dr. Sam E Scolaro (Janie) and Don A Scolaro (Nilda); four grandchildren, Stephanie Scolaro, Noelle Eubanks (Rob), Don Scolaro Jr. (Michelle), Jennifer Goldbach (Scott); seven great-grandchildren; and his niece and nephew, Mary Ann and Frank Favata. Sam was laid to rest on November 1, 2012 in a private family service at the Italian Club Cemetery. His pallbearers were Don Scolaro Jr, Scott Goldbach, Rob Eubanks, Frank Favata, Paul Favata and Stephen Favata.
