BLANKENSHIP, Aaron D., 92, of Gibsonton died June 21, 2013. He is survived by his daughter, Ann Andrews; sister, Faye Harvey; grandchildren, Debbie Brown and Larry Thomas Andrews; great grandchildren, Nicholas Aaron Brown, Lexxie Brown, Justin Andrews and Jason Andrews , as well as, former son-in-law, Larry Andrews. Mr. Blankenship was a World War II veteran receiving a bronze star from the Aleutian Islands campaign, "The Forgotten Battle." He was a retired business man, most notably Blankenship's Meat Market. In his younger years he was on the Board of Directors for Landmark Bank and Northside Bank, and was a member of the Chamber of Commerce of the Tampa Jaycees. A memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Adams & Jennings Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make donations to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave. 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001, in Mr. Blankenship's memory.
