WILD, Audrey B., 81, died Saturday, July 5, 2014, while a patient at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Hanover, PA, to Robert and Viola Cine Bankert. She graduated from Eichelberger High in 1951 and worked at the Naval Ordnance Plant and Social Security Office, both at York for 20 years. She then owned and operated the Trotting Inn of Littlestown with her husband, Cleatis Rode. In 1975, they moved to Florida. After Cleatis died suddenly in 1984 she returned to the workforce and was the Jury Coordinator of Hernando County until she retired in 1995. She married Edward G. (Ted) Wild in 1999 and was again widowed in 2000. She is survived by six step-children, Jerome Rode (& Jane), of Atlanta, GA, Nancy Hoffman (& Frank), of Moorseville, NC, Roger Wild (& Lil), of Dexter, GA, Bonnie Patton, of Hagerstown, MD, Rick Wild, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Robert B. Wild, of Spring Hill, FL, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Spring Hill United Church of Christ and its choir and sang with the Brookridge Music-Aires. There will be a memorial service at her church on Wednesday, July 9th at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon in the church social hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Spring Hill United Church of Christ, 4244 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill, FL 34609. Merritt Funeral Home of Spring Hill will be handling arrangements.
