Charles SALVI

SALVI, Charles A. Sr., 77, of New Brunswick, N.J, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Friday 1/17/2014. Charlie, a Career Firefighter with the City Of New Brunswick, N.J. Until retiring in 1977. Charlie also worked for his twin brother Edward Salvi, Owner of EJS General Contracting of North Brunswick N.J. as a Forman. In 1977 the family relocated to Tarpon Springs, Fl. He is preceded by his beloved wife Kathleen of 57 years. Charlie is survived by four children, Charles Jr. (wife Debbie), Michael, Anthony (companion John), and daughter Shawn (companion Deb); and grandchildren: Katherine Salvi, Michael II, and Antonio. He is also survived by sisters, Arlene Brittingham, Susan Pippi, and twin brother Edward (wife Eileen). He was very well known around Tarpon Springs and the Sponge Docks for doing various jobs for many friends. He loved fishing on the Dolphin, coffee at Plaka's and Hellas, to just hanging out around the Sponge Exchange with good friends. To my Angel, I'm still watching over you! Services will be held on Sunday 1/26/2014 at Saint Michael's from 2-4 pm, 113 Hope St, Tarpon Springs,Fl 34689 In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Hospice. Miss you forever, Dad
