SEDOR, Eleanor 84, a longtime resident of the Tampa Bay area entered into rest February 23, 2014. Eleanor was an Assistant to the Executive Director at The Geisinger Hospital in Penn. She left that job when she got married, started her family and became a devoted mother to her eight children. She then worked for 15 years at Citizens & Northern Bank in Wellsboro, Penn. After retiring from the bank she and her husband, Wassil "Fritz", moved to Florida. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and liked to volunteer at the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Eleanor enjoyed baking, playing bingo, ceramics and supporting her children in their activities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wassil. Survivors include her daughters, Donna Weill (Max), Linda Holland (Peter), Kathy Brodhag (Bill), Mary Reichley (Durrell); sons, Anthony, Michael (Maria), Paul (Lydia), Christopher (Laura); brother, Albert Direnzo; 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2014 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Valrico. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery.
