Guy Allison "Chip" BURNETT III

BURNETT, Guy Allison III "Chip," of Largo, died on April 15, 2013. He is surived by his wife, Linda Schultz Burnett; 3 incredible children, Guy IV, Rachel and Raymond; and 4 grandchildren. Guy is also survived by his 2 sisters, Floy Burnett McNulty and Becky Burnett Waibel. He was predeceased by his parents, Guy Allison Burnett Jr. and Leila Myrle Ortmeyer Burnett. Guy was born and raised in Tampa, but moved to Largo over 30 years ago. Guy attended Sacred Heart Academy, Jesuit High School. He was a very talented athlete, and competed on both the football and basketball teams. Upon graduation from high school in 1969, Guy enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Guy led a versatile professional life including working for the county, running his own ad agency, working with clients from all over the U.S. He was also the Owner and Publisher of the Pinellas Outlook. Guy had a passion for sports that never ended. He loved the beach and all forms of water activity. A celebration of life will take place in May.
