FLOYD, James Riley Jr., age 91, of Plant City, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Mr. Floyd was a WWII Army Veteran and was retired from the Atlantic Coastline Railroad. He is predeceased by his parents, James Floyd Sr. and Matilda Floyd. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Crosby Floyd; son, James R. "Pete" Floyd III (Lorri); step-daughter, Judy Messick Faircloth (Barry); brother, Robert E. Floyd; sisters, Loyce Cochran (Jimmy), Laverne Eby; grandchildren, Cassady Faircloth, P.T. Floyd (Michele), Matthew Floyd and Kelli Floyd and great-grandchild, Shelby Floyd. A gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. at Wells Memorial & Event Center.
