Lois Mae BAGWELL

BAGWELL, Lois Mae, 75, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009, in Sebring. She was born August 30, 1934, in Leicester, Buncomb County, N.C., to Fred Jefferson and Thursa Jane (Fender) Wright. She was a homemaker, a member of the Pink Ladies, Red Hats Society, Moose Club, Elks and River Greens Golf Course, founder and sponsor of Bagwell Junior Golf Tournament, she was of the Lutheran faith and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1954, coming from Fletcher, N.C. She is survived by her sons,

Michael D. Bagwell (Teresa) of Marietta, Ga., and Gary Bagwell (Betsy) of Avon Park, Fla.; sisters, Barbara Parris of Avon Park and Nancy Sumner of Etowah, N.C.; five grandchildren, Dusty, Brandee, David, Brian and Rachel; and three great-grandchildren,

Landen, Mason and Baylee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Bagwell, son, Keith Bagwell, and her parents. She was also preceded in death by brothers, James W. (Jim) and William C. (Billy) Wright and Winfred W. Wright; sisters, Angela W. Orr and Freddie W. LaBlanc. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 26, 2009, at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, with Pastor Aaron Jahjah officiating. Visitation will take place 10-11 a.m., one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
