Dr. Nancy Bost KING

KING, Dr. Nancy Bost, 69, a resident of Leesburg, FL, died November 6, 2013 after a long and de-bilitating illness. Nancy was born in Tampa where she graduated from Hills-borough High School. She obtained a B.A. degree from Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, and taught at the Brookside School which has been merged into the Cranbrook Educational Community in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Nancy obtained masters and doctoral degrees in counseling from Wayne State University in Detroit. Her Ph.D. dissertation was the basis for a successful book she co-authored, "Host Family Survival Kit: A Guide for American Host Families." She counseled foreign exchange students and also had a private counseling practice for several years. In addition, Nancy was an account manager in financial services and a free-lance journalist, contributing to articles in People, Time and Discover magazines. She also wrote articles for Mature Lifestyles Magazine; and the Lake Sentinel and Leesburg Commercial newspapers. She and her husband produced several DVDs that focus on historical topics. Nancy is survived by her spouse, Ken Huff, a Leesburg resident, and her mother, Barbara M. Bost, of Tampa. National Cremation Society, Fruitland Park, FL 352-728-0093
