KAMINIS, Patricia S., 88 of Tarpon Springs, Florida, died peacefully at home on Thursday March 28, 2013. She was born in Evanston, Illinois and came to Tarpon Springs 35 years ago from Mexico City. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Kappa Alpha Theta, Clearwater Pan Hellenic, Lunch Bunch, Old Timers Club, Life Member of The Friends of the Tarpon Springs Library, Bridge Club, and the Tarpon Springs Historical Society. She also raised funds for the blind and Planned Parenthood in Mexico City, Provided Piano and choral music for patients in local nursing homes every other Saturday in Tarpon Springs, and made sandwiches for the homeless every thursday through an ecumenical project. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Clinton Kaminis and is survived by: 2 Sons, Kim Arthur (Silvia) Kaminis, and Arthur Peter Kaminis, both of Miami, Florida (Mabel Tellez of North Carolina), Daughter Karen Ann Kaminis-Bottorf (Bill), Soccoro, New Mexico, Brother Dr. Niles Severin, Castro Valley, CA Sister Marilyn Brankovich Encino, CA, 2 Grand Children Christina Kaminis, New York City, Chanel Kaminis, Asheville, NC, Niece Jan Kaminis-Platt (Bill) Tampa, FL Great Nephew Kevin (Michelle) Platt, Tampa, FL Great grand niece Emma Platt, Niece Laura Scoticchio (Tony) Grand Niece Kathryn Scoticcio all of Encino,CA, Niece Carol Reddic, N. Augusta SC, Grand Nephew John (Mollie) Reddic, Columbia, SC, Niece Edie Reddic, Martinez, GA. Visitation will be on April 5, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Vinson Funeral Home, Funeral service will Saturday April 6, 2013 10AM at All Saints Episcopal Church, Tarpon Springs. Burial will follow at Cycadia Cemetery with a reception following at All Saints Episcopal Church.
