Victor Thomas MOORE

MOORE, Victor Thomas, 90, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2012, at his home in Seffner, FL. He was a longtime resident in the Tampa area, born in Lake-land, FL, a veteran of WWII and served in the Navy CB's. Victor was a retired electrician and a member of IBEW Local Union 915 for 70 years. He was active in the community as a member of the First United Methodist Church of Seffner, West Coast Orchid Society, Plant City Art Club, East Hillsborough Art Guild, Brandon League Fine Arts and Artist Unlimited. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph W. Moore and Elizabeth Lent Moore; wife, Martha Hubbs Moore; sons, Charles and Frank Moore; and grand-daughter, Tina Moore. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Loper, Sioux Falls, SD, and Barbara (Tony) Grigg, Sorrento, FL; brother, Van Moore, Rockport, TX; present wife, Peggy Moore; children, Victor (June) Moore, Mary (Danny) Wightman, Dale Slaven, James Slaven and Tammy (Jimmy) Byrd; 14 grand-children; and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 505 E. Old Hillsborough Ave., Seffner, Florida. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a .
