SMITH, William Joseph, 79, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Dorothy Smith. Mr. Smith was survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie L. Smith and 6 children, Deborah and son Adam, Linda Wadsworth (Bill) and son's Ken and Max, Mike (Tina) and daughters Jessica, Casey Mae and son Jarrett, Dave, Laura Bish (Ken) and daughter Meagan, Eric (Rigeana) and daughters Ashley and Amanda and son Chris. He had one great grandson Stuart. Mr. Smith is also survived by a sister, Gert Farber and brother, Chet Smith. Mr. Smith attended Libby High School in Toledo, Ohio and is a retired real estate developer. He attended Bayshore United Methodist Church for over 40 years serving as Lay Leader, Staff Parish Committee Board of Trustees and member of the School Board at Bayshore Christian School. Bill was a proud American and had a great respect for our armed forces. He gave generously to those in need. He is leaving behind many friends and family who deeply loved him and will miss him greatly. Service will be held on July 2,2013 at 2pm at Blount and Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. Our condolences to Bonnie and family. We had lunch with some of our Sandusky cousins a month ago and looked at old pictures. Bill was in his teens when the pictures were taken. So sorry to hear of his passing. Our thoughts are with you.
