LEVERETT, Charles E., 84, of Tampa passed away March 10, 2014 at 3:20pm. His family was able to say goodbye during his time in the hospital. Survived by his wife, Joyce, of 61 years; sons, Steven, Robert, and Chuck; daughter-in-law, Dana; grandsons, Christopher and Jonathan; extended family, Christian; John and Roberta Buchman; Little Bit. Charlie (to his friends) was born in Montgomery, AL then moved to Tampa as a youngster. He graduated from the University of Florida in Pharmacy and practiced as a pharmacist for over 50 years. He married Joyce right before serving in Korea in 1953 with the US Army. No one worked harder than he did and he was a great family man. He also loved to vacation in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and St. Augustine, Florida. The family will be receiving friends at the Garden of Memories Chapel of Lights at 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610 at 11:30am with a memorial service at 12:30pm on Sunday, March 16, followed by graveside services for those who wish to attend.
