ARMSTRONG, JR., Clem Glenn, 98, of Hudson, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013. Born in Wimauma, FL, he was raised in Plant City. He graduated from Plant City High School and the University of Florida in 1938. He was the owner & operator of Armstrong Hardware & Appliance Store. Later he moved to St. Petersburg & was a bookkeeper for Galen Drugs until retirement. In 1992, his wife, Dorothy passed away and his second wife, Dorothy passed in 2003. Survivors include sons, Clem (Karen) Armstrong, III and Gregory (Cynthia) Armstrong; daughter, Glenda Armstrong & step-daughter, Nancy Mayer; grandsons Allan & Jeremy (Alexandra) & a great-granddaughter, Carolina; several nieces & nephews. The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa. Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, 11 AM at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Rd, New Port Richey, 727-845-1957.
