No words can heal a broken heart, but always remember; "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." I hope that you can find hope in God's promise and remember that you are never alone.. especially in times like these. It's sad that it takes the death of a loved one to remind us that we're not promised tomorrow, no one is. Let us not forget the time we had with Devin and the memories, smiles and laughter he brought into our lives. I was so lucky to know him as a child, back when things were so simple, we had no worries, not a single care in the world, just our imaginations and this huge world to explore. So much has changed since then, and this big world isn't all that we had once imagined, but keeping our eyes on the cross is what keeps us grounded. Saying goodbye will never come easy, but having faith in the Lord will make you stronger. Sending all my love, prayers and blessings to all of Devin's friends and family, especially his mother and father. God bless.

My name is Christian Spinella and I was the leader of the Improv group that Devin was in in High School at FLA. We spent a good deal of time together laughing. Even after years of not seeing him the first thing that came to mind after hearing about what happened was my memories of him laughing and making us all laugh. He was always looking to take it to the next level in order to get laughs from the audience, but mostly from us, his friends. Devin always looked to those around him for his energy and joy and he gave back that joy through his humor and jokes. He touched a lot of people with that gift.

You have been in our prayers constantly since hearing this horrible news.
I just wanted to say what a sweet and giving young man Devin was. I helped at FLA quite frequently and Devin was always ready with a hug to greet me and asking if I needed any help. He was always offering to help at the school or if he was visiting our home. We loved having him around. He was always ready with a quick punch line or an encouraging word to someone in need. My son did improv with him and my daughter considered him one of her closest friends. We will miss his smile and kind heart.
You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
