REINER, Doris L., 88, of Tampa, died on June 8, 2012. She was born in Minnea-polis, Min-nesota, to Esther and Peder Swanum. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Art History. Following WWII, she moved to New York City where she met and married Tampa native Ernest Reiner, who preceded her in death after 58 years of marriage.They moved to Tampa in 1957, and while she loved the Tampa Bucs she remained a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan. Doris and her husband loved to travel, and they shared a passion for music, especially the Big Band sound and Dixieland Jazz. Doris had a great love of books, art, politics and sports. With her husband she was a devoted supporter of the Florida Symphony, the Judeo Christian Clinic and numerous other charities. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and Palma Ceia Country Club. In addition to her husband, Ernie, Doris was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Swanum and nephew, Jeff Swanum. She will be dearly missed by her two children, Chris (Kathleen Kilbride) and Leslie (Tony Kriseman); her brother, Charles (Penny); and her six grandchildren, Chris, Caitlin, Kendall, Eleanor, Carly, and Lydia. She will also be missed by sisters-in-law, Donna (Robert), and Lois (Walt), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30, at 4 pm in the chapel at Hyde Park United Methodist Church.
