Drazek, Elizabeth Ann (Lisa), age 56, of Brandon, Florida, died on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Lisa was born in Norristown, PA on September 2, 1957, the daughter of Dr. Leonard Joseph Drazek and Elizabeth Jane Kaiser Drazek. She grew up in Southeastern PA, and graduated from St. Mark's High School in 1975. Lisa attended the Nursing School of Wilmington, DE and received her Nursing (RN) Diploma in September 1978. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Penn State University, PA in May 1987. Lisa was employed by Florida Hospital Tampa, Tampa, FL from 1995 - 2014 on the Mother-Baby Unit and the Neonatal care unit Level 3. During this employment, she served as a Perinatal Unit Charge/Staff RN; Teacher for RN students from USF, Hillsborough Community College, South University Pasco, Tampa Bay Tech, and was a Diabetes Resource Trainer. She also served as a Nursing Instructor for Obstetrical Clinicals for Gulf Coast College, Brandon, FL from 2007 through 2008. Lisa was involved with a number of professional activities and has received professional certifications and awards recognition. Lisa loved and treasured spending time with family, friends, co-workers and her patients. She had a heart of gold. Her laugh, beautiful smile and signature bear hugs would always be shared by all that surrounded her. Lisa was predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth J. Drazek and sister, Mary M. Hellhake. She is survived by her father, Leonard J. Drazek of Englewood, FL; sisters, Debbie F. Boxler (John) of Landenberg, PA and Caroline Drazek, Bradenton, FL; brothers Mark M. Drazek (Tina) of Orlando, FL and Luke J. Drazek (Julie) of Englewood, FL; as well as her ex-husband, James K. Hardt, and step-children, Kelly E. Hayes, Kim E. Hardt and Keith J. Hardt; ten step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. All are invited to attend Lisa's memorial Catholic mass being held on Thursday, May 15th, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 770 Kilbourne Avenue, Englewood, FL 34223.
