DIEZ, Sr., Fermin J. (Papa) 88, of Tampa, Florida passed away peacefully on Sep-tember 16. Fermin served in the Navy during WW II as a machinist and after discharge continued his work with the Seaboard Coastline Railroad, both in Chicago and Tampa. He was preceded in death by his wife Camellia J. Diez and "Puffy" his beloved dog. He is survived by a son Joe Diez (wife Kathy) and a daughter Diane D. Saunders (husband Mackey), six grandchildren, Bert Saunders, Leslie Saunders, Lindsey Diez, Jason and Katie Milian, Tracy and Ted Arena, Erika and Dennis Rodriguez and six great grandchildren Haley Saunders, Brooks Saunders, Taylor Arena, Gino Arena, Anthony Rodriguez, Sophia Rodriguez. A private entombment will be held by the family. Family asked that everyone remember Fermin for his always friendly nature with people, always ready with a joke or funny story and his unending devotion to his family.
