PUGH, Katherine A., 101, formally of Sebring, died Friday, July 18, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Winamac, IN, Nov. 4, 1912, to George Korreckt & Amelia (Dennis) Korreckt. She attended Purdue University. In December of 1941, she married Claude Pugh in Winamac, IN and they moved to Sebring in 1966. She was a member of Sebring Garden Club, Charter Member and Past President of the Sebring Lions Auxillary & St. Catherine's Catholic Church. She is survived her adopted family, daughter, Carolyn Shick of Jacksonville, and granddaughter, Toscha Blanchard Weathington of Jacksonville. Also grandsons, Jonathan Shick & Shane Weathington, and great grandchildren, Lauren, Ashley & Layton Weathington of Jacksonville. As well as, sister-in-law, Betty Korreckt of IN, nieces & nephews of IN, Don & Nancy Korreckt and Susie & Mike Gummere, and Bob & Pam Hammond of IL along with some very special and faithful friends, Leaner Marklin, Father Peter Sheehan, Dr. Joni Jones, Edna Arehart and Bonnie Ackermann. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude, adopted son, Ivan Blanchard, all her siblings and many of her dearest friends. Visitation Sunday 5-7 PM at Morris Funeral Chapel with a Rosary at 6:30PM. Funeral Mass Monday 10AM at St. Catherine Catholic Church.
