CASARES, Rick, 82, passed away on September 13, 2013 in Tampa, FL. Rick was a retired NFL running back with a long and decorated career. He was inducted into the UF Athletic Hall of Fame as a "Gator Great" and is part of the Chicago Bears Ring of Honor. After retiring from the NFL he worked in the real estate industry, the recording industry and lounge club ownership. Rick is survived by his wife Polly Casares, daughter Dawn Cleary, beloved grandson Lani Cleary, sister Vivian Casares as well as the rest of his large and loving family. Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM on Wednesday September 18, 2013 at Incarnation Catholic Church with the family receiving friends one hour prior. Interment will be private. Pallbearers will include Ernie Casares, Joe Casares, Dennis Antinori, Paul Antinori Jr., Indy Cuesta, Robert Menendez Jr. with Mike Ditka serving as an honorary pallbearer.
