MARTINELLI, Vincent, 68, passed away in his sleep on April 15, 2014. He was born July 28, 1945, NYC, NY to Vincent & Louise (Keeney) Martinelli. He is survived by the love of his life of 45 years, Carol (Kiernan) Martinelli, son Allister (Kristie) of Utah, grandchildren Andrew, Shelby, Ariana, Britt, Bryen, Devin, Gabriella, Dante, Chase, Jocelyn and great- granddaughter Rylee; son Alexander of Texas, grandchildren Chelsie, Aleyna, Aliya and great-grandson Austin; daughter Alisa (John) of Tennessee; daughter Murphy Pena (Eddie) of Connecticut, grandchildren Ricardo and Michael; son Ryan of Connecticut; sister Virginia DeLeo of California; nephew Dale DeLeo (Karen) of Colorado, grand-nephew Vinny and soon be grand-niece Gabriella Grace. And of course Aliwishes, aka Little Handsomest. Vince was a man who was loved and respected by those close to him. Some of his friends lovingly called him Pudge, Spaghetti Man, Donut Man and Daddio. Vince had a heart larger than life, gave a "hand-up" to those in need and a helping hand whenever he could. Vince was a Bronx boy. You can take the man out of the Bronx, but never the Bronx out of the man! He served his country during the Vietnam conflict as a Corporal in The US Marine Corps, Semper Fi. As a father, he spoke proudly of his children. He raised the children with a stern demeanor but always tried to get the lessons of life in there someplace. Well, my honey, the dance is over, I love you always. See you on the other side and we'll continue the dance.
