CAMASTRO, August A. "Augie," 101, of Sebring, passed away October 7, 2013 at Somer Hospice House. He was born January 1, 1912 in New York City to Artilio and Maria Camastro. Mr. Camastro came to Sebring in 1992 from Coram, NY. He delivered milk by horse and wagon and drove the first Mack milk truck in Queens, NY. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Catherine Catholic Church. Mr. Camastro was preceded in death by his wife, Rita. He is survived by his son, Mike Camastro of Baldwin, NY and his daughter, Arline McGann (Jim) of Sebring, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Dowden Funeral Home. A rite of Christian Burial Mass will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring, with Father J. Peter Sheehan as Celebrant.
