ARUFE, Bernarda "Rosa," 93 , of Tampa, passed away May 17, 2011,

sur-rounded by her loving

family. A native of San Juan y Martinez, Pinar del Rio, Cuba, and longtime resident of Tampa, Rosa is survived by her loving family, son, Fernando (Annie) Arufe Sr.; grandchildren, Fernando (Jennifer) Arufe Jr. and Adriana M. Rodriguez;

great-grandchildren, Nicola J. Arufe, Anthony Alvarado, Christian and Lucas Rodriguez; sister, Dora Ruiz; nephews, Armando

(Pam) Ruiz, Elias (Mirta) Cura, Dr. Jose (Lorie) Cura M.D., Miriam Cura and Emilia Cardonell; and several loving great-nieces and great-nephews in Tampa and Cuba. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Jaime Casellas and Dr. Jose Cura and their staff, the staff at Casa Loreto Assisted Living Facility and LifePath Hospice Melech House for their special care and attention. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon, May 19, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 N. Himes Ave., with entombment to follow in Centro Espanol Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Fernando Arufe Sr., Fernando Arufe Jr., Elias Cura, Dr. Jose Cura, Armando Ruiz, and Rene R. Otero Jr. Honorary pallbearers include Alejandro Gonzalez and Lazaro Rodriguez. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass, Thursday morning, May 19, at the church. Please send online condolences to www.jgrfuneralhome.com

Hola, mis condolencias por su perdida. Se que todos los años compartidos con su querida Sra. Arufe son inolvidables, y deben estar llenos de alegrias y recuerdos muy especiales. Entiendo el dolor de perder a alguien muy querido, pues yo tambien perdi a una amiga a muy temprana edad, y a pesar del tiempo siempre es fuerte aceptar esa realidad. Pero lo que me a ayudado es proyectarme hacia el futuro, en un mundo mejor donde Dios nos promete lo siguiente en Juan 5:28, 29 "No se maravillen de esto, porque viene la hora en que todos los que están en las tumbas conmemorativas oirán su voz y saldrán [...]". Aqui Dios nos da la esperanza de que volveremos a ver a todas las personas que hemos amado y hemos perdido en la muerte, habra una resurreccion en la cual volveran a la vida. Este texto me da esperanza ya que yo espero con muchas ansias volver a ver a mi amiga, y se que ustedes deberan sentir lo mismo.
Espero que este texto les pueda dar un poco de esperanza y tranquilidad.
