Bernice Selan

SELAN, Bernice Lucille, passed away May 18, 2011, in Dade City, Fla. She was born December 21, 1928, to Worden Haskell and Catherine Managan in Barneveld, N.Y. She was a private caterer for many years in upstate New York. She is survived by her beloved husband, Albin (Barney) Selan; daughter, Gale Miler, and her children, Shawn and Jennifer Hapanowicz; great- granddaughters, Madeleine, Rachel and Hannan; a son, Lawrence Miller; and his childiren, Lawrence J. Miller, Kelli Thomas and Michael Miller; great- grandchildren, DyAnna , Alexandria, Isaiah and Tedla. Her son, William Miller, predeceased her, and she is survived by his children, Matthew and Audrey; along with her great-grandchildren, Eve and Jane Miller and Sarah Connor. A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2011, at St. Mary's Episcopalian Church, 37637 Magnolia Ave., in Dade City. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to HPH Hospice, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34677-2455. Please specify the HPH Hospice of Dade City, where Bernice was taken care of, for donations. A time for interment in Fly Creek Cemetery in New York will be set at a later date.
