RUSS, Beverly, Jean, 77, of Brandon, went home to be with the Lord August 29, 2012. She was preceded in death by her beloved mothers, Idell Phillips and Agnes Hughes; father, "Woody" Hughes; sister, Sondra Music. She is survived by the father of her children, Charles Russ (Laurie); her children, Chuck Russ (Sylvia), Craig Russ (Dianne), Marci Russ-Hendricks, and Linda Cummings (Walt); sister, Sharon Sanders; brother, John Hughes (Barbara); and good friend, Roy Bailey. She was "Gran" to 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was a beloved caregiver to the family of Mike Renzi in NC, which brought her great joy. She was employed with Hillsborough County Schools DOT for 13 years. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. She was an amazing cook who loved making family dinners, gardening and shopping for antiques. The love and joy she brought to our entire family was wonderful in each and every way. Mom, Gran, we will miss and love you forever and ever. The family will receive visitors at 9:00am on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave. Tampa. Services at 10:00.
