CORCES, Charles "Chuck" J., born February 12, 1988, passed November 5, 2012. Chuck was pre-deceased by his maternal grand-parents, Armando & Margaret Dorta; and his paternal grandfather, Charles Corces, Jr. Chuck is survived by his parents, Charles & Terry Corces; sister, Amanda Corces; grandmother, Norma Corces; fianc‚e, Yadaira Valentin (Yari); daughter, Sophia Corces (born October 11, 2012); son, Alexander Valentin (born September 30, 2009); Yari's parents, Manuel Valentin & Carmen Avellanet-Valentin; aunt and uncle, Joan Corces and Rick Sebek; aunt, Susan Chommie; cousins, Lisa Aimini, Isabella Sebek and Andrew Sebek and great-aunt, Josephine Buckner. Chuck was a lifelong resident of Tampa. His daughter Sophia is a sixth generation Floridian. Chuck attended schools in Tampa, was enrolled in the Hillsborough Community College Automobile Technician Program, and a member of the H.C.C. Auto Club. He was awarded his black belt in Tae Kwon Do and had a passion for music and music production. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Hillsborough Lodge No. 25 F & AM Masonic Lodge. Pallbearers are: Manuel Valentin, Rick Sebek, Joseph DiStefano, Jereme Boyette, Joseph Gonzalez, Blake Weeks, Andre Wagner, Mark David Toiner, Ian Armstrong, and Elijah Williams. Honorary Pallbearers are: John Reynolds, Matthew McLaughlin, Michael Pizzuro, Joseph Pizzuro, Joseph E. Nicholas, Timothy A. Patrick, and Cory J. Ruppel. Chuck was a devoted and loving father, son, grandson, brother, nephew and cousin. Nothing gave him more pleasure in this life than the beautiful time he spent with Yari, Alex and Sophia. Alex and Sophia, always know that your daddy loved you with all his heart. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-9 pm at the Boza & Roel Funeral Home located at 4730 N. Armenia Avenue, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 am. Interment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
