RAHAL, Collin Jane, 27, passed away following a car accident on Sunday evening, March 3, 2013. Collin was born on April 10, 1985 in Tampa, FL, where she lived until she graduated from the University of South Florida, Cum Laude, earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology. Following college, Collin's adventurous spirit and love of travel led her to the country of Morocco, where she lived and taught the English language to school children for a year. Upon returning to the States, Collin pursued employment in the food and beverage industry, as well as creating a very successful career working for a company doing marketing for Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Selfless and generous with her time, Collin traveled twice to Honduras with her family to participate in Medical Missions. She was always looking for ways to help others and give back to her community and the world in general. Early last year, Collin's passion for horses and her desire to fulfill a lifelong dream led her to Ocala to learn to be an event trainer and rider. At the farm, she dove right into the hectic routine of the barn, learning and training, always staying at the top of her game. Collin is best remembered for her tenacity, for her beautiful smile, and her infectious laughter, which always elicited laughter of its own. Collin is survived by her mother, Janet Gres Osceola; her father, Ed Rahal; brother Davis Rahal, Stepmother, Belinda Rahal; Stepsister Kaitlin Williams; Stepfather, Joe Osceola Jr.; Stepsister, Jody Osceola; and step grandmother, Jeanne Gres. Collin is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Alfred D. Gres and Katherine Walker Gres; her stepsister, Ashley Williams Lawson; and her paternal grandfather, Edmund Rahal. Flowers will be accepted, or donations in Collin's name and memory can be made to Quantum Leap Farm, www.quantumleapfarm.org a non-profit horse farm which opened in 2000 to serve injured and disabled adults and children, military service members and their families by fostering a therapeutic relationship between horses and humans. Visitation will be Friday, March 8, 2013 from 6-7pm with a 7 p.m. memorial service, both at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Avenue, Tampa.
