ALBERT, Edward A., 79, passed away Monday, September 28, 2009, in Sebring, Fla. He was born in Jonesboro, Ark., to James and Bernice (Dorton) Albert. Edward was a musician. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and enjoyed fishing, playing music, traveling and spending time with his family members and friends. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1992, coming from Galatia, Ill. Edward is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alma Albert of Avon Park, Fla.; sons, Dennis Albert (Jeanene) of Jonesboro, Ark., and Randal Albert (Debbie) of Jonesboro; brother, Junior Albert (Wanda) of Jonesboro; sister, Nora Lee Morris of Ellington, Mo.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grand-daughter, Ashley Albert. Memorial services will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at the Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Bobby Sizemore officiating.
