DINGMAN, Elsie E., 79, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on September 1, 2013, at Gulfside Center for Hospice Care in Zephyrhills. Elsie was born December 21, 1933, in White Plains, NY, to Harold Archer and Marjorie (Kowes) Archer. She grew up and raised her family in Philmont, NY, where she was a hairdresser and devoted mother and homemaker. Elsie loved the outdoors and for most of the last 20 years she spent the summers in the Adirondack Mountains in a cabin that she and long time companion Dick Fahsel built in Piercefield, NY. Elsie wintered in Zephyrhills with family and dear friends. She loved the church and was an active member of the Zephyr Christian Church in Zephyrhills. Survivors include children Ed Dingman of San Marino, CA, Ken Dingman of Henrietta, NY, and Donna Johnson (Keith) of Zephyrhills, FL; sisters Marion Archer of Zephyr-hills and Dara Martin of Valatie, NY, 4 grandchildren, and many loving friends. A memorial service for Mrs. Dingman will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gulfside Hospice or the Zephyr Christian Church.
