MILLER, Frances M., 92, passed away peacefully April 6, 2013 in the loving care of Hospice House in Temple Terrace. She loved life and lived it fully. Frances enjoyed doing crafts of all kinds. She dedicated herself to a Cancer Table at the VFW in Lakeland, FL. She was very successful at raising money for cancer research. She loved dancing and making friends at the VFW and the American Legion in Lakeland, FL. She retired from Delco Marine in 1974. As a family, we will truly miss her "Apple Pie and Noodles" at all of our family gatherings. Frances was a wonderful cook and homemaker. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was born August 27, 1920 in Bradford, Ohio to the late Homer and Bernice Houser. She was married to Glenn C. Miller until his death in 1997. She was a loving mother to daughter, Phyllis Swimer of Sebring; two sons, Terry (Karen King) of Temple Terrace, Florida and Rick (Daun) of Tampa, Florida. Two loving sisters, Louise Johnson of Edgemoon, SC and Alice Goldberg of Ozark, AL. Frances loved and nurtured 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren. A "Celebration of Life" service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26 at Woodmont Clubhouse, 415 Woodmont Ave., Temple Terrace, FL.
