HENSON/BARNES, Geneva A., 75 of Wesley Chapel, FL passed away peacefully on Sat. May 25, 2013, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was predeceased in death by her first husband, James C. Henson. Survivors include 2 sons, Glenn and Robert Henson; one daughter, Debbie Lamoureux and her husband Norm; one grandson, Chad Lamoureux and 5 granddaughters , Heather and Amanda Lamoureux and Emily, Olivia and Jasmine Henson; 3 great grandchildren, Austin DiSalvo, and Ethan and Brooklyn Lamoureux. Also survived by her husband Walter R. Barnes; 2 stepsons, 5 step grandchildren and one step great grandson; brother, Kenneth Berghuis; sister, Virginia Burnsed She grew up in Coconut Grove, Miami and graduated from Coral Gables High School. She raised her family in Miami where she made very special life long friends. She retired as an office admin from Appalachian St. University. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Some of her enjoyments included spending time with family and friends, playing cards, social gatherings, ocean, traveling, camping, cooking and entertaining over the holidays. A celebration of her life will be held on Thurs., May 30 at 11:30 at Hodges Funeral Home on SR 54, Zephyrhills. Interment will immediately follow at Bushnell National Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to HPH Hospice, 37445 Clinton Ave., Dade City, FL 33525.
