ANDRICK, Gilbert Norman, 90, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012, in Sebring. He was born March 11, 1922, to Lewis Ralph and Helen Marie (Cooper) Andrick in Greenfield, Indiana, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1988, coming from Greenfield. He was a Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service and a veteran of World War II, serving from 1942-1946 in the U.S. Army 739th Airborne Division. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Sebring; Indianapolis Capital City Lodge #312; Murat Temple Shrine in Indianapolis; Scottish Rite 32nd degree Mason and a life member of VFW Post 4300 in Sebring. He was also a member of Florida Hi-12; the Order of the Eastern Star; a 50 year Mason and and Past President of the Resident's Association and Past King of The Palms of Sebring. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Andrik of Sebring; son, David Lee Andrick, Englewood, OH; brothers, Robert Andrick and Lewis Andrick, Jr., both of Greenfield, IN; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Interment will be at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, Indiana. Memorial donations may be made to the Activities Department of The Palms of Sebring, 725 South Pine Street, Sebring, FL 33870.
