GANN, Howard Edwin, 84, passed away May 12, 2013 in Hot Springs, Arkan sas. Born May 7, 1929 in Searcy, Arkansas to James and Sophia (Mc Giboney) Gann. He married Virginia Helen Creutz in Tampa, Florida. Howard served in the US Air Force from 1950 to 1970; first as a B-29 gunner, later as a KC 135 air refueling boom operator, and then aboard the Presidential Airborne Command. He remained with SAC until retirement and then returned to Arkansas. Survivors include his son, Christopher L. Gann of Houston, TX, and daughters, Cindy Gann Henry of Little Rock, AR, Caroline Gann Kruse of Sant' Agata dei Goti, Italy, Jennifer Marie Gann of Dallas, TX. Grandchildren Brian Patrick Henry, Jessica Gann Thuente and Patrick Christian Gann; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on May 18, 2013 at 12:30 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Tampa, Florida. Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the Wounded Warrior Project of America.
