Our family was truly saddened by Ian's loss of his father. I met Ian while visiting my daughter, Rachael, at Vanderbilt this March. Ian is a wonderful young man and I'm sure that Howard must be looking down from heaven in admiration and pride of his son and family.
Many prayers and hugs go out to your family that you may rejoice in the time he was present in body. Always know that he shall remain present in spirit for all of your days.

Dearest Becky,
Our deepest condolences on the loss of your precious Howard. I can only imagine what you and your entire family must be feeling now. I was at the Celebration of His Life at Van Dyke and it was wonderful. You had so much to be proud of and hold on to as do your fabulous children. As you know, this world is not our home, we are all just passing through. We will keep you in our thoughts & prayers. God bless you all. We miss you in our old Small Group.

Please accept my sympathy for your deeply tragic loss. I worked directly with Howard at Fortress on only a few occasions, but knowing him even a little is to know that the world has lost a lovely soul. I am sure his life touched many lives and by so doing blessed them.
