native of La Habana, Cuba, and longtime resident of Tampa, Ignacio is survived by his loving family, daughter, Mercedes Martinez; sons, Ignacio Diaz-Lamelas and Dario Diaz; grandchildren, Marlene Buttram, Mercy Powell, Aixa Garcia, Ignacio "Kiki" Diaz, Teresa Diaz, Dario "DJ" Diaz, Devon Diaz and Daryn Diaz; and seven
great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will take place 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening, May 26, at the chapel of JGR Funeral Home. Please send online condolences to www.jgrfuneralhome.com

We met this wonderful man at the Wellswood baseball park; he was lost and he was looking for the field where his grandson was playing. When we finally helped him locate his grandson's field it was only then that we realized he was DARIO's father. We could see the pride in his eyes as he saw his grandson play. May he REST in PEACE! Our thoughts and prayers. Bryant and Raquel Camareno.
