I worked with Jim in the Purchasing group at Critikon. He took me under his wing and mentored me, even after he moved to North Carolina. We kept in touch for a few years, but eventually lost contact. I will always miss Jim's laughter and advice.

Gee wiz, I was saddened to read about Jim's passing in the local paper. I will admitt now, Melinda,I did have a crush on Jim. He was a really smart man and I sure learned alot from him. After speaking with another Ex-co-worker, we decided to have a "social event" July 24th at Carrabba's 5pm 700 North Dale Mabry. Life can be cut short. Keep in touch with friends. Melinda, sounds like you had 25 wonderful years together.

I first met Jim at USF where we were both served as officers of Tau Beta Pi, the National Engineering Honor Society. After college I lost track of Jim when we went our separate ways, but had the good fortunate of working with him later on at Critikon. We spent a lot of great days together on the golf course where Jim was a much better golfer than I. We lost contact again after I left Critikon and thought of him often. I'm saddened to hear of his passing, I will continue to remember him fondly....Bill Collns

I worked with Jim for over 10 years at Critikon. He was always one to think outside the box and give encouragement. I lost touch when he moved to NC but wanted you to know that many people he touched will miss him dearly.

I was very sorry to read about Jim's death. I am a cousin of Jim's from Mt. Clemens, MI and had exchanged emails with him in Oct.2009, after Bob Leggett found him on the internet. As a child, I would go with Grandma Leggett to visit Jim and his brothers, sisters, and Mom. Then, Jim and I became close the summer before he started college and we wrote to each other several times that first year he attended college. I, along with all the Leggett family, hope to re-unite with Jim's family. There are 3 Aunts and several cousins that long to get information about this family we lost so long ago. Please contact me via email [email protected].

It was sad to hear of Jim's passing. Jim was my long lost cousin from Mt. Clemens, Michigan. We lost touch 50 years ago. I found him on the internet two or three years ago, but was never able to meet up with him in person. I hope his family will contact me and possibly re-unite with the rest of the Leggett family. We always have a big reunion in August. Maybe Jim's family will attend. [email protected]
