Jane Ferguson Obituary

FERGUSON, Jane Moulton, 64, of Clearwater, Fla., died

Friday, June 3, 2011, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Peters-burg, Fla. Born in Talla-hassee, Fla., she moved here in 1983. She was a graduate of Florida State University, class of 1969 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. After a long career teaching at several Pinellas County Schools, Jane retired as a charter teacher at Sawgrass Lake Elementary School in St. Petersburg. She was a committed member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a great storyteller with legendary humor. Jane was a dedicated wife and mother who was loved by so many. She was a glorious Christian with a faithful testimony, who was never without a smile and who had an infectious giggle. She was a victorious fighter who trusted the Great Physician and her good physician, Dr. Jeffrey Paonessa. She is survived by husband of 41 years, James Burl Ferguson of Clearwater; her son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. David James and Whittney Cohen Ferguson of Commerce, Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Sheri Lynn and Dr. Thomas Palmer Jamieson of Mt. Dora, Fla.; a sister, Sandra Stoutamire of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a

granddaughter, Ellie Jane Jamieson of Mt. Dora; and three grandsons, Ethan Thomas Jamieson of Mt. Dora, Andrew Cohen Ferguson and Nathan James Ferguson, both of Commerce, Texas. There will be a public visitation

5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Calvary Baptist Church, 110 N. McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, where a celebration service will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Visit the family's personalized online guestbook at www.
