Joann Jones Obituary

JONES, Joann, 76, of Louisville, Ky., passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was formerly of Tampa, and was retired from the old Maas Bros. Department Store in Tampa after 25 years of service. Mrs. Jones is survived by her seven children, Stephen Palacious (Yolanda), Steve Jones (Jackie), Russell Jones, Shelia Jones (Stanley J. Smith), David Jones, Lisa Derridinger (Mark), Rodney Jones (Anne); brother, Edwin Altman (Mary Sue); sister, Bobbie Griffin (Roy); 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2011, at Eastwood Christian Church, 16410 Eastwood Cut Off Road Louisville, KY 40245. Memorials may be made to Hosparus, www.hosparus.org. Online condolences available at www.Newcomerlouisville
