COLLINS, Joseph R., 72 of Spring Hill, passed away January 1, 2013 at HPH Hospice Care Center. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and came here in 1989 from Milford, Conn. He was a man of Christian faith and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Joseph retired from the City of Milford as a firefighter after 21 years of service. He was the owner and operator of A-Okay Window Cleaning. He is survived by his loving wife, Lenore Collins; daughter Loretta Remington (Jim), 6 sons, Brian Collins (Millette), Timothy Collins (Mary Jo), Thomas Collins (Kyle Lynn Thompson), Jeffrey Shannon (Starlette), Dino Selamaj (Marianne), Anthony Sessa (Cheryl), grandchildren, Brian, Sara, Justin, Hannah, Phoebe, Zoe, Thomas, Christopher, Courtney, Gina and 2 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous 4-legged animal companions. Gathering on January 4 from 10 to 10:30 at 280 Mariner Boulevard with Services to start at 10:30 am at Brewer Chapel. He will be laid to rest with military honors at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
