MAYO, Kathryn Louise (Klein), 86, passed away August 3, 2012, after a short illness. She was a Tampa native, lifetime resident of Seminole Heights, USF retiree, and lifelong active member of the Episcopal Church: first St. Andrew's, then St. Francis, and finally St. Clement's. She volunteered in the community in many capacities from Scouts to government, played Bridge avidly, and treasured her family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Frank Mayo, Sr., and siblings Frank Klein and Gay Klein Weeks. She is survived by her brother, the Rev. Harvey Klein, daughter April Geissler (Dave), sons Frank and Gary Mayo, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 17, at St. Clement's Church, 706 W 113th Ave., Tampa, FL 33612. The family will receive friends at an informal lunch in the parish hall at noon. Memorial donations may be made to St. Clement's Episcopal Church.
