SULLIVAN, Leroy, 79 of Tampa, Florida passed away Saturday, June 15th 2013, in Gainesville Florida. Leroy cherished his family and was loved by all who knew him. He served proudly in the United States Marines from 1952 to 1960 and received the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and National Defense Service Medal. Leroy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rita Sullivan of Tampa, FL; son, Tony Sullivan (June) of Gainesville, FL; daughter, Mary Nofsinger (Bill) of New Port Richey, FL; daughter, Theresa Hegstetter (Tom) of Kennesaw, GA; son, Tom Sullivan (Jesika) of Wesley chapel, FL; and daughter, Lisa Hunt (Jim) of Valrico, FL. Leroy is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, John Sullivan (Jo Ann) of Clarksville TN. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, June 20th at 2:00PM, Countryside Village Clubhouse, 9601 Clubhouse Lane, Tampa, FL 33635.
