Lowell Humphreys Obituary
HUMPHREYS, Lowell D., 81, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away May 12, 2011.
Lowell was born October 3, 1929, in Hanover Township, Ohio. In 1950 Lowell enlisted in the U.S. Navy and in 1952 he moved to submarines and served in Korea. He was a member of Zephyr Christian Church and the Elks Club of Zephyrhills. He is survived by his daughter, Sara Bundy of Zephyrhills; two sons, David (Melissa) Humphreys of Atlanta, Ga., and Tom Humphreys of Rockford, Mich.; five grand-children; seven great-grand-children; and one sister, Marylou Thompson of Cincinnati, Ohio. A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011, at First Christian Church, 6040 8th St., Zephyrhills. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
