MAULDIN, Mary "Mamaw" Turnbull, 78, of Bradenton, went home to be with her Lord on July 15, 2013. Born in Monticello, Florida on July 29, 1934, she fought a lifelong battle with Lupus & has passed from death into life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, William Mauldin, & brother James Turnbull. She is survived by four daughters Christina Overton (Don), Mary Camilla Mauldin, Catherine Cooper (Christopher) & Debbie Briggs (Mike), her sisters Alice McNutt (Rt Rev Charlie McNutt), Margaret Turnbull, Kay Beverly, Linda Ohnstad, Pat Mauldin, Vera Moliere & Mildred Butler. Her greatest joy came from her 11 grandchildren: Micah, Mason, Mariah (Overton), Crystal (Mauldin), CJ, Samantha, William (Cooper), Austin, Madison, Grace, Caitie (Briggs). Her list of accomplishments is long but her strongest testimony was her daily life example. She loved with God's love, increasing in Him and decreasing in herself. We have been blessed to call her ours & will rejoice on the day we are reunited. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Roser Community Church in Anna Maria Saturday, July 27 at 10:30 am with a visitation one hour prior. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 29 at 11:00 am at Florida National Cemetery. Donations can be made to Roser Community Church.
