FRANK, Mary Sue, 84, peacefully passed away on December 16, 2012. Born on September 11, 1928 to Avanelle and J.W. Gray Sr. in Atlanta, GA, she moved with her family at the age of two to Tampa, where she became a lifelong resident. She is a graduate of H.B. Plant High School and attended Duke University and Florida State University. She was an active member of the Junior League of Tampa, Tampa Yacht & Country Club, the H.B. Plant Museum Society, and Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church. A devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Sue was preceded in death by her husband, L. Robert Frank. She is survived by her two daughters, Minda Frank & Patricia Schmidt; her son and daughter-in-law, L. Robert Frank Jr. & Claudia Frank, her grandchildren, Kit Corral, Justin Schmidt, L. Robert Frank III, Claudeane Frank; and her great-grandson, Tanner Corral. She will be loved and missed forever. The family would also like to especially thank her friends and caregivers at the Abigail House for all their love and support. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m at Palma Ceia Presbyterian, 3501 W. San Jose St. In lieu of flowers, donations to Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church and the Palliative Care Foundation at Tampa General Hospital are preferred.
