Mildred Alsabrook, age 89 passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008 in Avon Park, Florida. She was born in Unidalla, Georgia to
James and Alma (Stone) Register. She was a Telephone Operator, member of the Sanctuary Church of God and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1957 coming from Bowling Green, Florida. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Casey and Armine Longoria of Avon Park, ; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert D. and Marie Alsabrook, Jr. of Houma, Louisiana, Buren I. and Janet Alsabrook of Bowling Green, Florida and Robbie D. Alsabrook of Avon Park; sisters, Jewel Hattaway of Dade City, Florida, Ophelia Williams of Dade City, Florida, Gladys Howard of Lakeland, Florida; brothers, Beauford Register of Zephyrhills, Florida, Paul Register of Dade City, Florida and Richard Register of Boston, Massachusetts; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be held Monday, April 7, 2008, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. (1 hour prior to service) in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 7, 2008 at 3 p.m., in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Geren officiating. Entombment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
