BLACK, Paul Edward, age 89, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012, in Avon Park, Florida. Mr. Black was born in Bloomington, Indiana, on May 16, 1923 to Roscoe F. and Virginia (Bloomer) Black. Mr. Black was an insurance agent for Mutual of Omaha, he served in the United States Army during World War II in China, Berma and India, he attended the Community Bible Church, he enjoyed roller skating, and spending time with his family and friends, he had been a resident of Avon Park since 1996 coming from Marion, Indiana. Mr. Black is survived by his wife of 50 years-Anita Black of Avon Park, Florida; daughter-Rae M. (Chris) Bates of Denver, Indiana; son-Scott E. (Denise) Black of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers-Glen Black of Marion, Indiana, James (Jeannine) Black of Sweetser, Indiana, and Charles Black of Marion, Indiana; sisters-Grace (Richard) Stratton of Bebee, Arkansas, Doris (Gene) Jay of Marion, Indiana, and Margaret Brown of Marion, Indiana; 3 grandchildren-Shawn Bates of Cedar Hill, Texas, Samuel Black of Indianapolis and Caroline Black of Indianapolis, Indiana. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Community Bible Church. Mr. Black passed away peacefully; he was loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
