KING, Raymond Louis, 94, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on December 1, 2012. A loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends. Formerly of Ravenna, Ohio, he moved to Tampa in 1962. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Nelva King; his grandsons, Dwayne, Louis and Raymond. He is survived by his seven children, Louis King and his wife, Judy, Shirley Alexander, Kathy Henley, Raymond King II and his wife, Susan, Robin Hill and her husband, George, Stewart King and life partner, Jay Lewis, Kerry King; his brother, Howard King and his wife, Karen; and his sister, Arleen Goughler. Mr. King and his wife have 26 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. A very special thanks to his neighbor, Rose Nordstrom, for all she had done. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Avenue. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will received friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M.
