ANGELL, Robert E., 81, of Sebring, Fla., passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009. He was born October 7, 1927, to William and Minnie (Rowley) Angell in North Providence, R.I. He had been a resident of Sebring since 2003, coming from Douglasville, Ga. and lived in Rhode Island for 45 years. He worked as a welder for a manufacturing company and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He attended Zion Bible Institute and was a member of First Assembly of God. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Angell of Sebring, Fla.; daughters, Donna Jones (Paul) of Douglasville, Ga. and Carol McCue (Steve) of Franklin, Ohio; sons, Robert Angell (Jennie) of Narragansett, R.I. and William Angell of Douglasville, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2009, with funeral service following at 3 p.m. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Wilmont McCrary will be officiating.
