KOSHEFSKY, Robert Herman, 82, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side, on September 11, 2013. Robby (Bob) was born December 11, 1930 to Henry and Gertrude Koshefsky in Connecticut. He served in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne as a medical technician. After completing his military service, he married the love of his life, Mary Sullivan. Robby was an employee and member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 14 for 50 years in New York City. He moved to Florida in 1977 and was the owner of multiple manufacturing businesses. Robby retired in 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Koshefsky; and sons, Gary Beckett and Dennis Koshefsky. He is survived by his daughters: Laura Roberts of North Carolina; Bonnie LaMarca of Ohio; Mary Alberti; Colleen Bierwiler (Frank), all of Spring Hill, FL; brother, George (Lil) Koshefsky of New York; sister, Dorothy Perras of New England; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, Sun., September 15, 2013 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am, Mon., September 16, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery.
