BLACK, Robert W. "Bob", 71 of Tampa, passed away on February 4, 2013. Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed many hobbies including his model trains, woodworking, gardening, collecting music and volunteering at the J.A. Haley Veterans Hospital. He proudly served his country for 21 years as a member of the United States Army and was a highly decorated veteran of three tours in Viet Nam. He went on to work for and retired from the Postal Service as a maintenance supervisor. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Nancy Black; daughter, Gaylene Branton (Terry); son, Stan Black (Carolyn); three grandsons, Clinton, Dustin and Derrick Branton; loving family and friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Graveside services will take place on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Florida National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Fisher House Foundation, 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, MD 20850 www.fisherhouse.org
